This is a man I greatly admire.
I had the privilege of meeting with him at Starbucks last year as he was passing through the U.S. Sergey Demedovich is a pastor, adoptive father and orphan advocate from Ukraine. He helped start a movement called “Ukraine Without Orphans” which has spread into Russia and is quickly becoming an example to the world.
His personal story is gripping. His church’s story is amazing. His struggle to see orphans taken care of through the church is beginning to really make waves. You can read more about Ukraine Without Orphans here: http://mainstream.ua/en/news/itm/381/
If you are in the Atlanta region, mark your calendar for Tuesday, Jan. 29th. Sergey Demedovich is speaking at First Baptist Woodstock at 6:00pm in the Magnolia room. Go to www.fbcw.org for directions or call 770.926.4428.
As a leader in the Alliance for Ukraine Without Orphans, Pastor Sergey has worked for 20 years to be a voice for orphans. His story is important to all who have a heart for the fatherless and those who may want to get connected.
I am looking forward to hearing his inspirational testimony again!
Hope to see you there,
