The Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute is on the front lines of this fight and are equipped to make a difference in situations like these by working through the State Department and on Capital Hill.

In the meantime, let’s pray for the doors of Russia to, once again, be re-opened to inter-country adoptions. And, let’s pray that all of the families that were in the process of adopting children from Russia will be able to continue the process of giving an orphan a forever family.
It’s a sad day when children are used as political pawns.
